Polar bear sleeping on iceberg wins Wildlife Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award
A photo of a polar bear sleeping on an iceberg has won the People’s Choice category in a wildlife photography competition run by the National History Museum in the UK.
Called the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, the competition attracted more than 50,000 entries from around the world.
Judges announced the overall winner in October, with the grand title taken out by Laurent Ballesta for his photo of a horseshow crab with three little golden trevally fish swimming above it.
Of the 50,000 images, there were only 100 finalists.
