STATEN ISLAND, NY – New Dorp High School has been a fixture on the Staten Island educational scene for almost 90 years. New Dorp opened its doors in September 1936, with the original school building was located at 485 Clawson St. Given the Island’s rising population, a new building for the high school, on New Dorp Lane, was opened in September 1982. While we now know Queen Camilla for being married to His Majesty King Charles III, the Queen Consort was of course married once before saying ‘I do’ to her beloved Charles.
